FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Union, New Jersey, November 10, 2016 – William J. Ludlum, COO of MORRE-TEC Industries Inc., announced that Alice Benson Tenny has been named to lead U.S. business development in the northeastern part of the country. She will also be responsible for some of the company’s key cosmetics and personal care accounts. In her new position, Ms Tenny will report to Gary Romans, MORRE-TEC‘s Vice President of the Cosmetic and Personal Care Ingredient Group. Mr. Ludlum added, “Alice and Gary now give us a great Cosmetic Ingredient Team to design and direct our new focused direction for substantial growth into this industry. We are very much looking forward to their success!”

Mr. Romans stated, “I am very pleased that Alice is joining us, bringing a wealth of technical, regulatory and marketing expertise to MORRE-TEC.” He cited Ms Tenny’s recent role as the Global Technology Director at Honeywell International where she was responsible for technical support and the development of additions to Honeywell’s product portfolio. Mr. Romans also highlighted Ms Tenny’s tenure and accomplishments as the Director of Cosmetic Chemicals at Sumitomo Corp. of America, as well as previous technical positions at Biosil, Symrise, LIPO Chemicals, BASF and Estee Lauder.

In 1998, Ms Tenny was a recipient of a National Society of Cosmetic Chemists Merit Award. She was granted a U.S. patent for her Aerosol Hair Spray Composition in 1992. She is a former Chairman of the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and was the Suppliers’ Day Chairman in 1998, 1994 and 1991. At present, Ms Tenny is also an Exhibition Committee member of the International Federation Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Ms Tenny holds a Masters Degree in Chemistry/Cosmetic Science from Fairleigh Dickinson. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rutgers.
